Due to physical limitations, and, despite what might be said on any given page of this site, I no longer do any actual installation or repair work.  Age has, unfortunately, caught up with me.

REPAIR AND WIRE REHAB WORK
Business and Residential

I ask $32 per hour, calculated in 15 minute increments ($8.00 per increment) plus the cost of the material.  If you think that's a lot, here's some comparisons.

As of the time I retired from the phone company, their rate was $75 an hour, and now I understand it's around $100 an hour - $32 is less than a third of what SBC (AT&T) charges.

Also, $32 an hour's a lot less than what some private "phone companies" charge.  I've seen some of their rates at roughly $150 per hour.

So, it should be clear from this that you've got to shop around and ask.

Any repair work I do will include isolation of the trouble and repair if possible.

Any questions, give me a call.
